DIMAPUR: REACHA, with support from IIFL Foundation and Assam Rifles, is implementing a skill development initiative aimed at promoting vocational training programmes, creating awareness of career oriented opportunities, enhancing employability, and encouraging local communities to access industry relevant skill development programmes.
According to a press release by REACHA, the initiative focuses on structured training opportunities in the hospitality sector, providing participants with practical knowledge and skills through classroom sessions, practical exercises, role plays, demonstrations and interactive activities.
Under Batch 1, the Nagaland Centre enrolled 46 students, including 25 in the Homestay Host Programme and 21 in Front Office training. Building on this progress, mobilisation for Batch 2 has commenced across local communities in Dimapur and nearby districts.
