Skill development programme underway at Tamlu

A week-long “demand driven skill development” programme for the youth of Nagaland in Construction Sector 2022-23 was organised by the department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in partnership with Zynorique Initiative Society at Tamlu sub-division, Longleng which got underway on Monday.
According to a DIPR report, the objective of the training is to increase proficiency, grow skill sets, achieve a task in less time with more results, and increase performance and to provide more employability in the construction sector.
The inaugural programme was chaired by Government ITI Mokokchung principal, T. Imlisunep Ao while short speeches were delivered by student president & village council chairman of Tamlu & Amachong Village respectively.
The programme was highlighted by chairman of Zynorique Initiative Society, Richard Belho while dedicatory prayer was offered by associate pastor Women Tamlu Village.
At the training programme, 50 participants will be learning skills on plumping, tiling and masonry works. The training programme will culminate on June 26.
