Skill orientation programme for students

Western Angami Students Union (WASU) conducted a skill orientation programme at the Sazolie College Jotsoma auditorium to motivate students who cleared the HSLC and HSSLC 2023.
Addressing the students, president, Western Angami Public Organisation (WAPO), Kepelhoutuo Chüsi, emphasized on the significance of student life and achieving academic excellence.
He encouraged the students to be grateful for community support and become valuable assets to the society.
He pointed out the inherent struggle for survival and the pursuit of social recognition through career achievements.
In this regard, he urged the students to focus on taking part in competitive exams through proper guidance and perseverance.
Chüsi reminded the students to take charge of their destiny and plan their lives wisely filling it with valuable life lessons and motivation.
Exhorting the students, president, Western Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho, Beizo Suokhrie, urged the successful candidates to set ambitious goals and choose the right stream.
He guided them to embrace continuous learning, be focused and disciplined, seek guidance and step out of their comfort zones to learn more.
During the programme, presentation on the importance of skill development were made by general secretary, Western Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho, Kedosakho Chücha and instructor, ITI Kohima, Kasalhoukho Casavi.
Earlier, president’s address was delivered by president, WASU president, Mhiesisekho.
A prayer for the students was offered by catechist, St. Andrews Church Jotsoma, Seyielebei Savio Senotsu.
General secretary, Angami Students’ Union (ASU), Vimeyiekho Vitsu, congratulated the students.
Earlier, the programme began with an invocation by president, Western Angami Women Organization. Mekhrievi-ü Kehie.
Aneidi Sano spoke on behalf of the students while a special number was presented by Medoneinuo Suohumvü and vote of thanks by general secretary, WASU, Rokovolie Mor.
