Skill oriented training at NTTC

In order to enhance the competency of technical students, Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC) in association with AICTE & ICT Academy has commenced the skill oriented training programme on IT sector which has been aligned to the skill India vision of the Government of India. 
According to NTTC, the objective of the programme was to enhance the employability skill of the students. 
Under skill oriented training programme, students of the NTTC would be trained as per the national norms and standards and would provide better platform assistance for placement. It would also help them to abreast of the industry and market demands across the country.  
Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, Dimapur was established in 2006 by the Government of Nagaland with the assistance from the MSME, Government of India with the main objective to impart skill and employable training to bridge the gap between education and employment as well as to meet the needs and requirements of the market. 
Presently NTTC also offers various short term courses on; CAD/CAM including AUTOCAD, CNC programming & operation, basic & advanced machine operations,  basic welding & sheet metal fabrication, diploma in computer application, diploma in graphic designs, diploma in video editing, diploma in web designing, advanced diploma in multimedia, certificate in hardware and networking, desktop publishing and cane and bamboo handicrafts.
