Škoda Auto India has announced the return of its iconic Octavia RS, which sold out within 20 minutes of opening pre-bookings. The launch coincides with the brand’s 25th anniversary in India and marks the re-entry of the RS badge as a Fully-Built Unit (FBU), available in limited numbers.
Powered by a 2.0 TSI turbocharged petrol engine, the Octavia RS delivers 195 kW (265 PS) and 370 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds. The vehicle features a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The Octavia RS is equipped with advanced safety and driver-assist features including 10 airbags, Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Assist, Head-Up Display, and a 360° Area View camera. It also offers premium comfort with Suedia/Leather upholstery, sports seats with massage and memory functions, ambient lighting, and a 32.77cm infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Design highlights include full LED Matrix headlights, dynamic LED tail lamps, 19-inch Elias anthracite alloy wheels, and five colour options—Mamba Green, Candy White, Race Blue, Magic Black, and Velvet Red. The car offers a boot capacity of 600 litres, expandable to 1,555 litres.
Customer deliveries will commence from November 6. The Octavia RS comes with a 4-year/100,000 km warranty and complimentary Road-Side Assistance for four years.
