Skydiving plane, with 20 onboard, crashes in US

A skydiving plane, with at least 20 passengers and crew onboard, crashed in the US state of Tennessee in Coffee County, about 60 miles south of Nashville on Sunday afternoon, according to officials from the City of Tullahoma.
Several people were receiving medical treatment after the plane crashed near Tullahoma and according to Lyle Russell, a city spokesperson, no one died in the crash which occurred close to Tullahoma Regional Airport.
Russell further told CNN that three people were airlifted to hospital for medical treatment, while one person with serious injuries was transferred to hospital by ground. “Other minor injuries were treated by first responders at the scene,” Russell added.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed the plane crash in one of its social media posts and added that there were 20 people onboard, including the passengers and crew. The post added that no injuries on the ground were reported due to the crash.
Tennessee Highway Patrol, in one of its X posts, stated “Happening Now: Coffee County- THP troopers are assisting. Tullahoma Police Department at the scene of a plane crash on Old Shelbyville Road. Initial reports suggest 16–20 people were on board. Some have been airlifted to nearby hospitals. This is an active scene. Local officials will update.”
