Advisor of Social Welfare, Wangpang Konyak, distributed smartphones to 403 Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) in Mon district during a coordination meeting held on June 20.
The smartphones—Samsung Galaxy A06 models—are being provided under the first phase of distribution to replace older devices. The phones will support the implementation of the POSHAN tracker monitoring app, which aims to enhance data collection and improve service delivery, especially in supplementary nutrition at Anganwadi Centres across the state.
The meeting was attended by secretary Bodeno S. Colo, director Tosheli Zhimomi, project director (POSHAN) Olemjungla, and officials from the directorate in Kohima.
