KASU supports SN
Kuhuboto Area Students’ Union (KASU) has expressed its full support and solidarity to the Survival Nagaland movement.
KASU vice president, Akavi N Zhimomi, informed that KASU has resolved to join the movement in order to “save our land and our coming generations” from the influx of illegal immigrants (IBIs) who have posed a grave danger to “our” indigenous population, as they have captured all economic activities. It cautioned that the demand of their domicile and other political rights are not very “far off” if the present rate of the influx goes on without any check.
It informed that in much areas surrounding Dimapur, the IBIs have crossed the local indigenous population by multiple times and that it is “now or never” or the Naga people would be a lost race swallowed by the immigrant population if the present trend goes on.
KASU further appealed to al likeminded Nagas to join the cause which is a genuine and true cause for our god-given land.
