The Fourth Phase of FY 2024-25 social audit district level public hearing under MGNREGS implemented during FY 2022-23 & PMAY-G implemented during FY 2019-20 was held at VDB Hall, Zunheboto on March 5, 2025.
The social audit district level public hearing was organised by District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Zunheboto in collaboration with NSSAA, Social Audit Unit Nagaland.
DRDA project director Zunheboto, Phoishe Sema, who was the chairperson, addressed the officials and participants. The project director assured to take corrective measures based on the social audit findings.
In her introductory speech, the assistant director of NSSAA, Social Audit Unit Nagaland, Imlirenla Sanglir, briefed on the review of social audit findings and implored the implementing agency and the programme functionaries to execute the scheme in consonance with the ministry guidelines.
Social Audit district resource persons Sunepienla, Marsenla, Khrutalu Shijoh and Toshimanen Jamir presented the findings of social audit and was reviewed during the hearing.
Issues of non-conduct of Rozgar Diwas, non-maintenance of three phases photographs, poor maintenance of documents, mismatch of records and job card related issues were reviewed and accordingly rectifications were produced by the concerned BDOs.
Resolutions were also passed to take corrective measures based on the social audit findings.
PMAY-G scheme was found to have well executed and all the houses were well constructed.
BDOs and staff of Satoi, Satakha, Akuhaito, Tokiye & Ghathashi RD Blocks, officials from the DRDA, MGNREGA beneficiaries, village functionaries, VLOs & media participated in the meeting.
Altogether, 56 villages were audited for MGNREGS under Satoi, Satakha, Akuhaito, Tokiye & Ghathashi RD Blocks. Thakiye, Khuvuku, Tsutuho, Tsuruho, Ghokhuvi, Satoi, Kheshito, Hokiye, lkiye, Itovi (Satoi RD Block); Khukiye, Lukhai, Vishepu, Xuivi (Satakha RD Block); Naghuto New, Naghuto Old, Mapulumi, Vekuho New, Vekuho Old, Asukhuto, Yesheluto, Emlomi, Litsami, Sukomi, Khrimtomi, Roto Old, Roto New, Philimi (Akuhaito RD Block); Khetoi, Aghiyili, Viyixe, Viyilho, Khehoto, Hoshepu, Ghokishe, Shevishe, Kiltomi, Phuleshitomi, Aghulito, Lukikhe, Akuba, Lukhuyi (Tokiye RD Block); Ighavito, Hebolimi, Kilomi, Khughutomi, Chisholimi, Ghathashi, Tukuliqa, Lazami, Mishilimi, Natsumi, Tsaphimi, Ghokimi, Kitami and Puneboqa (Ghathashi RD Block).
With regard to PMAY-G, a total of seven villages were audited covering 81 beneficiaries at Natsumi, Ghokimi, Hebolimi & Tsaphimi (Ghathashi RD Block) and Hoshepu, Aghulito & Khehoto (Tokiye RD Block).
