Mass social works were conducted in various parts of the state like Kohima, Peren, Niuland, Mon and Tuensang districts on November 28. Kohima: A massive social work initiative was executed in Kohima Town, involving active participation from all district offices, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), and Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCI). The event, supervised by the District Administration, Kohima, aimed at enhancing the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the State capital.
According to a DIPR report, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, personally inspected various locations to ensure the effective conduct of the social work.
District offices from different departments were assigned to specific locations within the town. KMC initiated social work in colonies/wards, while shop owners and keepers under KCCI actively participated in cleaning their shops.

Various cleanliness activities such as cleaning common areas, unclogging drains, and removing waste/debris along the roadside were carried out.
The collected waste and debris were appropriately disposed of at the KMC dumping site under the supervision of designated team leaders.
Tuensang Town: A mass social work was organized in Tuensang Town under the leadership of the district administration. Participants from various government offices, business establishments, and wards actively engaged in cleaning their respective jurisdictions in Tuensang Town. Meanwhile, social works were also carried out in Peren, Niuland, Mon and Tuensang districts.
