Sovima Gold Cup wins CDCA U-16 boys inter-school tourney title

The Chumoukedima District Ccricket Association (CDCA), under the aegis of the Nagaland Cricket Association, successfully concluded the final match of the 3rd edition of the Under-16 Boys Inter-School Cricket Tournament on Tuesday. The much-anticipated clash was held between Highland Higher Secondary School and Sovima Gold Cup, bringing together budding cricket talents in a 30-over format.
The final showcased youthful energy, sportsmanship and team spirit, offering a platform for the players to demonstrate their skills. Highland Higher Secondary School won the toss and elected to field first. Sovima Gold Cup, batting with determination, posted a total of 120 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Highland Higher Secondary School struggled against disciplined bowling and were bowled out for 55 runs in just 10 overs.
With this commanding performance, Sovima Gold Cup emerged as the champions of the tournament, lifting the trophy of the 3rd edition of the CDCA Under-16 Boys Inter-School Tournament.
