ATMA Kohima, Chunlikha Block organised a demonstration programme “To study the effect of late sowing on maize” at Tesophenyu, Chunlikha Block on May 30, with Kevineituo Bier, ATM, ATMA Kohima as the resource person. The programme was chaired by Ruzhuthong, AFA. During the programme, the resource person stressed on the importance of date of sowing to maximize production and to avoid incidence of pests and diseases.
The programme was organised with a view to see the performance of maize during different dates of sowing at the farmer’s field conditions. Altogether ten farmer participants attended the programme.
