Spear Corps organises motor cycle expedition

To educate people living in remote areas of northeast region about ill effects of drugs, importance of cleanliness in day to day life as well as participation of members of society in mainstream issues pertaining to grassroot development, the Indian Army had organised a motorcycle expedition from January 12 to 20.
The expedition team comprising of 12 person from Kibithu reached Along on January 18 after covering a 600 kilometers and interacting with numerous children and youth in Assam and Arunachal.
On arrival at Along, the team organised a movie cum lecture for more than 500 students and teachers of Siyom Army Public School and RK Mission School. This was also attended by Army personnel in Along Military station.
On January 20 the team proceeded to Kaying and Tato. The team also interacted with the Ex-Servicemen in the area. This effort of the Army was lauded by the academic and civil administration.
