Deputy commissioner (DC) and district election officer (DEO) Kohima, Rovilatuo Mor has informed that the second special camp for the National Electoral Rolls Purification and Authentication programme (NERPAP) would be organised in all the polling stations under Kohima district on May 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the special camp, collection of Aadhar and electors photo identity card numbers along with mobile/e-mail Id of the electors, voluntary disclosure by electors concerned for having multiple registration of name in the electoral roll and filling up Form-7 for deletion, correction of errors of particulars entered in electoral roll, replacement of mismatched photo or bad quality photo and inclusion of name in electoral roll who are left out would be take up.
DC & DEO Kohima also informed general public of Kohima district to contact their respective polling station BLOs and visit the polling station on special camp day.
DC & DEO has directed area Administrative Officers/AEROs, the supervisors and the BLOs to inform their respective areas people and organise the special camp .
Commissioner & Secretary for soil & water conservation, T.Nungsang Ao, who is also the Nagaland & Special Observer of the Election Commissioner of India for Kohima, district in-charge, will be visiting to polling station during the camp.
