Special Covid-19 vaccination drive in Wokha

As per the decision of District Task Force for COVID-19 Wokha, medical department in collaboration with district administration conducted intensified special COVID-19 vaccination drive on August 7 at 14 sites across Wokha town.

According to DIPR, the vaccination drive was conducted in 14 sites and 329 people were vaccinated and 20 rapid antigen tests were conducted at Mt.Tiyi Hall, Wokha town, wherein all the test results were negative.

Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Wokha, Dr.C.W.Tungoe thanked all the members of Wokha DTF led by the Deputy Commissioner, Orenthung Lotha, health care workers, frontline workers, colony council chairman/council members and medical staff for their support and co-operation during the special drive.
