Special DPDB for Peren district was held on September 21 to approve the LADP 2016-17 at DC conference hall under the chairmanship of DC & vice chairman DPDB Peren, Zarenthung Ezung.
DIPR informed that LADP for both 6 A/C Tening and 7 A/C Peren was formally approved by the board.
The chairman also suggested for a mass social work to be conducted all over the district on October 1 to clean up the office premises coinciding with the second anniversary of the Swatchh Bharat Mission day, which falls on Sunday, October 2.
The board also formed a committee to supervise the mass social work with SDO (C) Hq. Shivam IAS as the convenor and S. Tainyu ADC.
Convenor of the Inter departmental Badminton Association Peren proposed for conducting of inter departmental tournament.
The house deliberated on the issue and agreed to hold the same at Jalukie very soon.
SDO (PHED), Ichirang, also the president of the Peren District Badminton Association (PDBA) expressed his thanks and lauded the efforts of the deputy commissioner and all the heads of offices and various committees for the successful conduct of the last inter district badminton held at Jalukie.
