‘Special fortnight immunization drive’ underway

Health and Family Welfare department has informed that the department was holding “special fortnight immunization drive” for those children in the age group of 1-2 years who have missed out on their routine immunization due to Covid-19 pandemic. In a press release, the department informed that the first round of the special drive has been initiated from September 20 to September 30 and was ongoing at all government health facilities. In this regard, the department has requested all parents to avail the opportunity to vaccinate their child against vaccine preventable diseases free of cost at the nearest health centre or contact their respective health-care worker/ANM/AWW.
