Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMSR) organised a Special Health Camp at its Phreibagei campus, Kohima on October 7. Speaking to this Correspondent, NIMSR director Dr. Soumya Chakraborty mentioned that the camp was organised in collaboration with the Seikhazou Primary Health Care to provide medical assistant to the labours and the fourth grade employees who did not have access to medical assistant easily due to their busy schedule .
She informed that over 300 come forward to avail the services. Doctors from NHAK and Seikhazou PHC assisted the health camp. They provided free medicine, consultations, immunisation to the pregnant women and children, family planning and health programs were also provided.
