Special outreach health camp in Kohima

Urban primary health centre (UPHC) Dzüvürü (Porterlane) in collaboration with Lower Chandmari panchayat organised a special outreach health camp at Lower Chandmari, Kohima.

During the camp, facilities including consultations, free medicine after consultation, immunization for pregnant women (DT) and children below 16 years of age, free basic laboratory services and screening, IEC & family planning, OCP and condoms were made available to the residents.

A total of 76 persons from lower Chandmari availed the free services.

Under the initiative of chief medical officer (CMO) Kohima, 20 persons availed the first dose of Covishield vaccine while one person received the second dose.

Meanwhile, Lower Chandmari colony executives expressed their appreciation to the medical team from UPHC Porterlane led by Dr. Thejangunuo Rutsa and CMO office for rendering their services during the health camp.
