Spl. secy MoF inspects SASCI projects in Kohima

Dr. Sajjan Singh Yadav, Special Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Government of India, on the second day of his tour to Nagaland, visited several key project sites in Kohima on April 28.
According to DIPR report, during the visit, Dr. Yadav inspected projects implemented under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme, including the High Court at Meriema, the Working Women’s Hostel at Kigwema, and the Main Arena at Kisama Heritage Village, which is partly funded under SASCI. He also paid a visit to the historic Kohima War Cemetery.
He was accompanied by Finance Commissioner and Commissioner & Secretary to the Chief Minister, Kesonyü Yhome, along with senior officials from the Finance Department and other project-implementing departments.
Earlier, on April 27, Dr. Yadav attended a dinner and interaction programme at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, where he expressed deep gratitude and nostalgia, marking his second visit to Nagaland after nearly three decades. He appreciated a cultural performance by the Ülikhrei Folk Group, which he said brought back memories of his tenure as Deputy Commissioner in Arunachal Pradesh.
