Satoi Range Public Union Zunheboto (SRPUZ) observed a routinely monthly prayer day along with the release of its Logo on December 1, at the residence of the banker Atobo Jimo at Amphoto Colony, Zunheboto Town.
A press release from SRPUZ stated that the programme started with the unveiling of the official logo of Satoi Range Public Union Zunheboto (SRPUZ) by its chairman Akaho Achumi. Achumi also thanked the Logo committee for its timely completion and urged the Satoi community living in Zunheboto Town to continue ushering peace and build good relation with other communities and be committed according to the significance of the motto.
General secretary, Vitoka Aye on behalf of the Logo Committee declared the motto of SRPUZ, “Progress in Bond of Unity” (Küqhakulu kumto lono thuwuni) and explained the symbol and significance of the motto. He further expressed his gratitude to the pioneers of the Satoi Range Public Union Zunheboto who founded this goodwill organization on September 17, 1989, through which all the Satoians could come under one platform and work for a good cause.
Aye also informed that during the first SRPUZ executive meeting for the tenure 2021-24, on August 28, 2021, it is unanimously resolved that the nomenclature “Satoi Tokukujo Kuposhukulu Zunheboto” has been hereafter changed to “Satoi Range Public Union Zunheboto” and therefore all the official correspondence of the union shall henceforth be referred according to this notification.
The programme began with prayer with by deacon Sumi Baptist Church, Z Kakuto Zhimo, where he bestowed his blessing for the official release of Logo and a motto.
