SRSU observes 44th session

Satoi Range Students’ Union (SRSU) observed its 44th session of biennial general conference at Ghokhuvi village from January 4 to 6 under the theme “reinvention with resilience”.

According to SRSU, minister, Agriculture and Cooperation, G. Kaito Aye, who graced the event as special guest on the second day, noted that changes were coming both in good and bad ways and therefore students must know how to be a responsible and contribute to society with knowledge and wisdom.
He said everyone was special and unique in their own ways and that they must use their talents in order to be self-sufficient and for the growth of the society.
The third session of the event was graced by NPF ex-candidate 36 A/C Satakha & CEC NPF, Zheito Chophy as literary guest speaker.
Chophi reminded the students’ community on the importance of education and termed it as an essential tool for future economic prosperity.
He encouraged the students in choosing the right profession in their career as it could lead them to make a sustainable livelihood.
Further quoting the theme SRSU, “zenith our zest”, he urged the students to live up to the significance of the theme.
SE (retd.), ex-candidate NDPP 36 A/C Satakha, Ghukhui Zhimomi also exhorted the students as cultural guest.
Earlier, G. Jolly Zhimomi, who also graced the event as speaker, expressed concern on how the pandemic has disrupted almost every sector on a global scale. She pointed out that people as well as organisations were forced into sudden survival mode and were challenged to adjust to unpredictable dynamics.
The programme was attended by officials of SKK, SRSU, Satoi Area GBs association, dignitaries and other officials.
