SRSU warns illegal occupiers of government quarters

Suruhuto Range Students Union (SRSU) has cautioned individuals illegally occupying government quarters to vacate the quarters before August 10, 2023.
In a press release, SRSU president, Hipito Achumi and general secretary, Toina said an “act of investigation” would be carried out before August 10 and that “adverse accusations” would ensue against “recusant individual”.
SRSU has also appealed all government employees under Suruhuto area to be stationed at their respective assigned places on or before August 15.
SRSU said the directives were as per the mandate given by the NGOs of Suruhuto area in a meeting organised by SRSU on July 1, 2023. Further, SRSU said it look forward to government employees and public “conforming to the laws”, and cooperation, as the union and the NGOs shall stand firm on the issues.
