Shepherd’s School, Dubagaon organised an Inter-school Literary Competition on October 4, under the theme ‘The Art of Eloquence’. Seven schools participated in various competitions namely public speaking, quiz, painting, colouring, drawing and handwriting. A press release from Shepherd’s School, Dubagaon headmaster stated that that D.E.O, Dimapur, who consented to be the guest speaker could not attend the program due to other engagements so she deputed her colleague. The guest speaker, assistant district education officer, Dimapur Lolensang Ponger, graced the opening program where she exhorted the students to enrich their talents in the art of speaking and writing. She also thanked Shepherd’s School for giving an opportunity to surrounding school students, and wished all the participanting schools success.
