An orientation program on Swachh Survekshan Grameen (SSG) 2018 (Clean Survey of Villages) was held on August 18 at Phek Town Council hall. Sanitation & Hygiene Consultant, PHED, Phek, Virhelie Kruneilie said that, the cleanliness survey was being conducted all over India for the welfare of human kind and he called upon the village leaders to take initiatives in this venture.
He called upon the leaders to encourage everyone to also teach children the necessity of toilet soaps
He also spoke about plastic free zones and asked the members present to spread the message about the dangers of plastic to the villages.
A vote of thanks was pronounced by Ngolo, HA PHED, Phek. The function was chaired by Kutulu Vero, IEC consultant, PHED, Phek. Representative leaders from various villages attended the function.
