As part of its community outreach initiative “Share and Care”, staff and cadets of Sainik School Punglwa (SSPN) recently visited the Old Age Home at Ngwalwa, Peren district, extending support and solidarity to the elderly residents.
Led by Principal Col (Dr) Smita Misra and Vice Principal Lt Col Amit Chaudhary, the team comprising faculty and students contributed essential items procured through generous donations from both staff and cadets. During the visit, the team interacted with the inmates, sharing moments of joy and reflection.
The visit proved to be a meaningful experience for the young cadets, instilling values of empathy, respect, and civic responsibility. SSPN expressed gratitude to the Old Age Home for the opportunity to engage and learn from the elders, reaffirming its commitment to social service and character-building.
