Col Arvind Nautiyal has been appointed as the ninth principal of Sainik School Punglwa, with effect from September 9.
Hailing from Dehradun, Col Nautiyal was commissioned into the Army Educational Corps (AEC) from the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, on December 8, 2001.
Meanwhile, Lt Col Sudhir Kumar Jakhar has taken over as the Administrative Officer of the school. An alumnus of Sainik School Kunjpura and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai, Lt Col Jakhar belongs to the Armoured Corps and has earlier served in the western sector of the country.
