Sainik School Punglwa Nagaland (SSPN) participated in the three-day CBSE regional level science exhibition-2015 hosted by South Point School, 21 Barsapara, Guwahati which concluded on 23 December 23.
Around 134 students from 42 schools in North Eastern region participated in the exhibition. The school project on the topic “electromagnetic train” was selected to be presented at the national level CBSE science exhibition-2016.
The project was conceived and carried out by cadet Maria Reba and cadet Punyo Rika under the guidance of master science, Rabidas Sinha.
Principal, Gp Capt Sanjay Gaekwad congratulated the participating staff and cadets on their return to school on January 8. He stated in his address that such initiative, participatory, hand-on, innovative and creative learning in groups organized by Sainik school widen up the thinking horizon of the cadets and allow them to have creative thinking and application of knowledge in meeting the future challenges towards betterment of environment and life style threats.
