Saringyim (Nokpu-B) Students’ Union (SSU) and Saringyim Village Council (SVC) while highlighting the grievances and inconvenience faced by the students of GHS Saring urged the school education department to deploy teachers as per the staffing pattern from the next academic session, 2024.
In a letter to principal director, school education, SSU and SVC pointed out that GHS Saring under DEO Mokokchung has 100 % results record for the previous five years in the HSLC exam. However, the organisations lamented that the lower section of the classes have no subject teachers for the Ao, Science, Hindi and Mathematics subjects. The organisations said GHS Saring being a composite school (P/P class to class 10) has only 13 teachers whereas as per the staffing pattern notification dated March 28, 2022, a high school was allotted 24 teachers.
