SSUST appreciates DC Kiphire

Sumi Students’ Union Sitimi Town (SSUST) has appreciated the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, and his subordinates for “wisely tackling” ‘SITIMI’ ‘SINGTI’ nomenclature issue brought before his office by SSUST on December 16.
In a press release issued by SSUST president, Vitoka Z Sumi, and the general secretary, Hikivi V Sumi, the union affirmed its “unconditional adherence” to order- NO:DC/Kpe/con-11/2-13-14::123/dated Kiphire January 3, where the office  issued its directive to use “official nomenclature ‘SITIMI’ in all official matters as it is officially recognized by the Government of Nagaland.”  Further, the office informed that the proposed 18th general session of the Sangtam Students’ Union Sitimi Area scheduled from January 9-11 would be held without any disturbance/ interruption from any organization/community. SSUST has appreciated and assured its cooperation to make SASSU 18th general session a grand success.
