St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, department of business administration, organized its 7th Convergence Fest on September 22 and 23, under the theme “innovate, integrate, inspire”. The vibrant fest was led by convenor, Leketol Naleo and co-convener, VilavonuoYene .
Gracing the opening ceremony as chief guest, life sports and social entrepreneur, director Colo Mero, delivered his speech based on his life experience, and dwelt on the existing state of Nagaland. He encouraged the young students to enlighten from others’ achievement and also said that “the size of the job doesn’t matter as long as a person loves what he/she does’’. He asserted that “to be successful” one should believe in oneself and diligent in their duties.
Altogether, six colleges including Kohima Science College, Dimapur Govt. College, Japfu Christian College, Don Bosco College Kohima, Sazolie College and Capital College and eight departments from the host college participated in the fest.

At the programme, Kohima Science College was adjudged the overall champion and Dimapur Govt. College was awarded the best discipline team of the 7th Convergence Fest 2016.
St. Joseph college, Jakhama department of business administration further expressed gratitude to all the sponsors, invitees, chief guest, management members of the host college, participants, students and lecturers in-charge from different colleges and different departments for making the fest a grand success.

The main objective of the convergence fest was to provide opportunities to the zealous students in the state and to showcase their talents and skills in order to realize their hidden potentials.
