St. Joseph University, department of History organized the “3rd Historia Diem” on August 17 at SJU auditorium under the theme ‘Uncovering hidden stories: Enhancing Forgotten Histories’. At the event, Kenlumpeule (PG III) delivered a speech on the observation and importance of ‘Historia Diem’.
Special song was presented by UG V students and a drama was performed by PG III students based on the theme, ‘Taiping Rebellion’. Speech and costume competition were organised where the participants uncovered the past histories with great stories and personalities.
Department of History, assistant professors, Hokato Sumi, Kevino Krose and Shinatoli Shohe were the judges at the event.
Kathanguang Gangmei of UG V, Bumang of UG V, Alovi Chopy UG III and Limirola Sangtam bagged the first, second and third positions respectively.
