St. Xavier College, Jalukie held its 11th graduation day on June 22 with SDO (R&B) Jalukie, Er. Vemete Pusa as the chief guest and SDO (civil) Jalukie, Lankonsen Tsanglo as guest of honour. A press release from the college stated that in his speech, Er. Vemete congratulated the graduates and also reminded the students to be prepared for the challenges. He also called upon the students to have a vision and make a difference in society. Guest of honour, Lankonsen exhorted the students to stand on and strive on in the midst of failure with a positive attitude adding that it would guide them to their destinations. The graduation ceremony for the 55 graduates was attended by Martin from Australia, parents and dignitaries. Vice principal of the college, Sr. Maria, invoked God’s blessings followed by lighting of the lamp; principal of the College, Rev. Dr. Francis also addressed the gathering. Other highlights of the day included dances, songs and words appreciation and thanksgiving.
