St Xavier’s Catholic Church Kidima observed Mission Sunday on October 21, at the church premises.
A press release by P Tepekrovi Kiso stated that director of Eden Garden and Children’s Home, Khuzama, Reverend Father Raymond D’Souza S, in his homily called upon the gathering to bring people closer to God through prayer, love and selfless service. Father D’Souza asked them to generously contribute to missionaries with cheer and joy saying that God would repay them a hundred fold.
The other highlights of the day-long celebration of the sacred feast were: enchanting gloria, reading the word of God, confession, sharing the body and blood of Jesus with incarnation of Mother Mary. Franciscan sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels, Xavier and Christi, and a special guest from Goa also joined the liturgy ceremony.
