Stakeholders discuss cabbage crisis

DIMAPUR: As part of ongoing efforts to address the cabbage marketing crisis in Razeba range, a stakeholder meeting was held on July 24, 2026 at Zhaveme village with representatives of village institutions, government officials and private sector partners to explore immediate procurement and marketing linkages for farmers. The meeting was seen as a significant step towards operationalising partnerships at the grassroots level by facilitating market access for cabbage growers and providing timely support to farmers affected by the current disruption.
The meeting was attended by VDB secretary, Head GBs, Village Council members, Kelhouzakie Chielie (DHO Phek), Kentsinle Tep (EAC Razeba), Nukuzo Phesao (founder, Nature Fuel India), and representatives from Sathwaro Farming, Gujarat-Bhavesh P. Bumtariya and Mukundray P. Bumtariya.
