Newly appointed state BJP president Benjamin Yepthomi, kicked off his first official district touring program on October 28, at Mon Town. According to press statement from BJP Nagaland, the president was accompanied by his new State Office Bearers (SOB) team. Yepthomi arrived in Mon Town with his entourage and was accorded warm reception by Mon district BJP party officials and Karyakartas.
He held series of meetings with Mon district BJP officials at Helsa Cottage and another public meeting at official NDPP candidate for 43 Tapi Assembly Constituency by-election Wangpang Konyak residence. He also met Health & Family Welfare minister Paiwang Konyak in his private residence.
The president later held another meeting with 43 Tapi A/C BJP Mandal and Booth Level officials at ex. MLA Lanpha Konyak’s residence. The official district touring programme would culminate in Dimapur on November 29.
