
After showing declining trend, Nagaland Covid-19 cases went past the 22,000 mark as 218 fresh cases were reported on Wednesday while the death toll also neared the 400 mark after 14 more patients succumbed to the infection.
Of the fresh cases, 86 were reported from Dimapur, Mokokchung-40 , Kohima-34, Tuensang-31, nine from Phek, seven from Wokha, five from Zunheboto, three from Kiphire and one each from Longleng, Mon and Peren, taking the total caseload 22,072.
Further, out of 14 fatalities– four each were from Dimapur and Kohima, two from Zunheboto and one each from Kiphire, Mokokchung, Phek and Tuensang. With this the death toll stood at 399– 386 Covid deaths and 13 non-Covid deaths but with Covid positivity.
PTI: India added 1,32,788 new infections taking the country’s tally to 2,83,07,832, while death toll climbed to 3,35,102 with 3,207 fresh deaths.
