State COVID tally crosses 1300-mark

Nagaland’s tally surpassed the 1300-mark on Sunday after 50 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported from across the state. 

According to state Health department, the tally as on July 26 stood at 1339 cases– 786 active, 549 recovered and 4 deaths (still under investigation for establishing whether they are COVID-19 related deaths)
In his tweet, Health minister S. Pangnyu Phom said 50 new cases were detected from 328 samples. He said 28 cases were reported from Kohima, Mon-13 and Dimapur-9.
Till date, a total of 21,313 samples were sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 19,987 been received. Out of the 13,998 samples received at the BSL-3 lab (NHAK), 12,819 were tested out of which 856 were positive. 
In addition, a total of 14,671 samples were also sent for testing on Truenat out of which 13,914 tested negative and 505 positive– which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.
