Former president NSF Z. Lohe said the state education system was a matter of deep concern where it required due attention as it was in pathetic condition and gullible for children while addressing as the guest speaker during the Naga Students’ Federation 69th foundation day held at conference hall NSF office Kohima on Saturday.
Lohe challenged the NSF leaders not to be silent spectators but spearhead to bring changes in the educational system of the state where many issues were confronting the quality education.
He reminded the NSF members that their top priority was to pay attention for the welfare of the students’ communities. He said without proper guidance and quality education to children their lives would be wastage and future was bleak.
Former NSF president and ex-NLA speaker Lohe also stressed the need of changing the corrupt election system in the state where everyone was responsible. He reminded the gathering the futile effort by the church organization in the last election in the state and urged the students’ communities also to be the part agent to bring the change.
He also shared the concern of Naga political issue and also provoked the minds of the students’ role to be played.
Former NSF president Zaku also addressed the gathering and shared the history of NSF during 1970s. President NSF Subenthung Kithan also addressed the gathering.
The programme was led by former general secretary NSF, Neizokhotuo Belho, invocation by Kechyesin Keppen youth director Police Baptist Church New Reserve Kohima while vote of thanks was proposed by editor NSF, Miiphato Nyuthe. NSF officials, former presidents and office bearers, federating units, subordinate units and others attended the programme.
