State gets Rs.524cr in tax devolution

DIMAPUR, NOV 5 (NPN): The Centre on Thursday released Rs. 1,09,019 crore as the regular instalment of tax devolution to State Governments ahead of the festive season.
According to a Finance Ministry statement, the monthly instalment, normally released on November 10, 2026, was advanced to November 5. The move is aimed at helping States accelerate capital spending and meet development and welfare-related expenditure during the festive season.
As per the State-wise breakup, Nagaland received Rs. 524 crore.
