State government has notified the constitution of a three-member State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) for Nagaland with retired PCCF and HoFF, I. Panger Jamir as chairman, additional PCCF (environment and climate change) as member secretary and retired chief engineer, irrigation and flood control, T. Yanger Ao as Member.
The authority would function from the office of the PCCF and HoFF, upper forest colony, Kohima and would exercise such powers and follow such procedures as specified in the notification (as amended from time to time).
