Fifteenth Finance Commission (FCC) led by chairman Nand Kishore Singh and accompanied by FFC member Prof. Dr. Anoop Singh and 10 other officials would arrive would arrive Kohima by helicopter on November 27, 2018.
In a press release, finance commissioner Temjen Toy informed that commission is scheduled have meeting with representatives of VCMs and VDBs at 4:15pm and with representatives of urban local bodies and tribal Hohos at 5pm at Hotel Vivor Kohima on November 27. On November 28, the commission would have meetings with chief minister and government officials at 10am. FFC will meet representatives of political parties at 2:30pm and representatives of trade, industries and commerce at 3:30pm at chief secretary’s conference hall. This would be followed by a press conference at Hotel Vivor at 4:40pm. On November 29, the team visit Touphema tourist village in the morning and would proceed to Imphal.
