State govt in touch with Manipur: Rio on Kezoltsa issue

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said that the state government was in touch with the Manipur government and the community with regard to the issue of Southern Angami Public Organization’s directives to the Mao tribe, residing within Angami jurisdiction, to return to their respective native villages in Manipur as per customary norm.


Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the inaugural of Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre, Rio expressed optimism that the issue would be resolved. On alleged PDS scam as reported by CNCCI, claimed that there was no scarcity of food grains. Instead, he said the state government was constructing godowns in districts so that the Food Corporation of India could deliver food grains to the respective districts, and not distribute from Dimapur.
