State level painting competition on energy conservation

As part of the national campaign on energy conservation 2021, a state level painting competition on energy conservation was organised by the ministry of power in Kohima on Wednesday.

According to a DIPR report, director, school education department, Wonthungo Tsopoe said he was happy to see a great turnout of students.
He expressed the need for a wider participation of students from different districts in future and said that education should be all round development of a child and children should think out of the box. 
Vivan Poddar from Hope Academy School, Dimapur received the first prize, Seyiesinuo Yhome from LFS Higher Secondary School, Kohima bagged the second while third went to Imkongsenla from Little Star Higher Secondary School, Dimapur under category A. Under category B, Delphi Oinam from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur bagged the first prize while Michael Yanthan from Saint Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and Victor D. Sangma from VKV Doyang received the second and third prize. The event was conducted by the nodal CPSU, Doyang Hydro Power Station, North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd, NEEPCO.
