State level seminar for students organized by ICFAI, NU

One-day state level students seminar was organized by ICFAI, NU, department of philosophy on the theme, “bioethics: issues and challenges” on March 29 at the IUN auditorium. The seminar was co-sponsored by Heritage Publishing House. 
The inaugural session was chaired by faculty co-ordinator for the seminar, Rovikotuo Yhoshu. Introduction to the seminar was given by pro-vice chancellor, IUN, Charles P. Alexander where he stressed on the importance and relevance of bioethics in the contemporary world. Publisher & chief editor of Heritage Publishing House, Dr. Lanusangla Tzudir spoke of the relevance of philosophy in contemporary times. 
Dean of social science, Patkai Christian College, Dr. R. K. Behera chaired the session where paper presenters from ICFAI University Nagaland, Patkai Christian College and Salesian College participated. The presenters spoke on topics like abortion, euthanasia and organ transplant. Wangbo Wangsu of Salesian College was adjudged the best paper presenter. Heritage Publishing House gave away certificates and prizes to all the paper presenters. The seminar was attended by students and faculty members from the university and different colleges.
