Nagaland on Wednesday recorded one more fresh case of Covid-19 pushing the total caseload to 36017.
According to health department bulletin, the fresh case was reported from Kohima. The department also informed five persons (three from Dimapur and two from Kohima) have recuperated from the disease. With this, the state currently has two active cases. The death toll remained unchanged at 782 (including five non-Covid deaths but with positivity)
Meanwhile, India saw a single-day rise of 1,021 Covid infections while active cases have decreased to 11,393 from 13,037 a day earlier, according to Union Health Ministry data updated on Wednesday.
The death toll has increased to 5,31,794 with four more fatalities, including two reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am stated.
