A state mega legal services will be held on April 12 at NBCC Conventional hall, Kohima from 12 noon to 6 pm. The programme will be attended by Judges of the Supreme Court of India, Minister of State (Law & Justice) Government of India and Judges of the Gauhati High Court.
DC Kohima, B Henok Buchem, has informed that the awareness about welfare legislations and schemes, identifying and connecting people to welfare schemes and to understand the legal needs of the people and address the legal problems will be addressed at the programme.
In this regard, all Village Councils, Management Committee of Village Development Boards, Women Organisations, Youth Organisations, Ward functionaries in Kohima District have been requested to mobilise attendees from respective village/ Wards to attend the State Mega Legal Services Programme.
