Along with the rest of the country, Nagaland will also be observing Vigilance Awareness week from October 29 to November 3, under the theme “Eradicate Corruption-Build a New India”.
DIPR reports that a program will be held on October 29, 1:00 pm at the Nagaland Secretariat Conference Hall. All government employees, including those of the central government in Nagaland Civil Secretariat, have been requested to attend the function without fail (as per a circular by chief secretary, R.B. Thong).
State Vigilance Commission Kohima will also be observing a Vigilance Awareness Week on October 29, 11 am at Town Hall Mokokchung. DC, Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal will be the guest speaker and Vigilance Commissioner, Mayang Lima will be delivering the key note address.
North Eastern Council will also observe the week with a four day Vigilance Sensitization program.
