Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), home department, has forecast that Nagaland would witness localized thunderstorm and lightning with moderate rain at most places till October 3, 2025.
In a press release, NSDMA joint chief executive officer Dr. Johnny Ruangmei stated that districts of Kohima, Kiphire, Chumoukedima, Dimapur, Niuland and Tuensang would, however, witness heavy rain accompanied by localized thunderstorm and lightning on September 30.
NSDMA has urged the public to exercise caution to avoid any eventualities during this period.
