State to witness rainfall till Sep 13

DIMAPUR, SEP 10 (NPN)

Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has informed that Nagaland would witness thunderstorm and lightning with light to moderate rain at few places till the September 14, 2025.
NSDMA stated that districts of Chumoukedima, Kiphire, Kohima, Mokokchung, Phek, Shamator, Tuensang, Wokha and Zunheboto would however witness heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning.
As a result, NSDMA has advised people to take necessary measures including avoiding lightning strikes and high winds, which can disrupt communication and connectivity. It also advised the low-lying districts to implement the precautionary measures in light of the current flood situation.
NSDMA also urged the public to exercise caution to avoid any eventualities during this period.
